Writer's Workshop-How to Unit

In Writer's Workshop, we have been writing "How to" books, as well as, remembering correct spaces between our letters and words when writing a sentence.  These are two helpful visuals we refer to in the classroom.

Word Study

As a class, we have spent 5 weeks studying and brainstorming words with short vowel sounds.  This is a helpful visual so we can remember the sounds our short vowels make.

Reader's Workshop

In Reader's Workshop, we are working on solving tricky words.  These are some strategies that help us tackle those tricky words!
